March 27, 2020
MUKWONAGO – Judge Paul Bugenhagen Jr, candidate for Wisconsin Court of Appeals District II, released the first radio ad of his campaign today, on the heels of his first television ad. The radio ad focuses on his experience on the bench and commitment to upholding the rule of law.
“Bugenhagen can be tough to pronounce but I hope this ad helps the voters learn my name and reminds them of my experience, commitment to uphold the law, and my pledge to never legislate from the bench,” said Judge Bugenhagen.
The ad will run on news/talk stations throughout the Milwaukee and Fox Valley areas.
Judge Paul Bugenhagen Jr was elected Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge in 2015 after defeating a two-term incumbent. He currently presides over the criminal division of the court. He spent the four previous years in the family and probate divisions of the court and was named head of the family court division in 2018.
Bugenhagen’s campaign has been endorsed by Wisconsin Family Action PAC, the Milwaukee Police Association, Wisconsin Right to Life PAC, Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices Bradley, Hagedorn and Kelly, and former Justices Gableman and Prosser.
Judge Bugenhagen resides in Mukwonago with his wife, Crosby, and their daughter. He faces Judge Lisa Neubauer on April 7, 2020.
The District II Appellate Court includes Calumet, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Kenosha, Manitowoc, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington, Waukesha, and Winnebago counties. This seat is currently held by Judge Lisa Neubauer. In the 2019 Wisconsin Supreme Court election, Justice-elect Brian Hagedorn defeated Judge Lisa Neubauer by a wide margin in District II.
